The Church At New Orleans

OUR HISTORY

 

This church was founded on May 5, 1991. Worship services began at the Holiday Inn Highrise Hotel located on Chef Menteur Hwy. In November of 1991, the Lord blessed us to purchase and move into our very own church building located at 4369 Ray Avenue. Within the next seven years, souls began to pour in causing us to outgrow the sanctuary God that blessed us with. By the leading of the Lord and our Bishop, Pastor Kevin J. Boyd, Sr., we purchased our current location and after major renovations we moved in and began worshipping at 11700 Chef Menteur Highway in April of 1999. God is continuing to bless the people of God through the preached word and the spirit of worship and praise. We are trusting God to fill this house with people who are hungry for His Word.
